Hi to all,

I have installed the latest Groupwise 7.0.3 system on OES2 with eDirectory 8.8 and Novell Client 4.91 SP4 + Grouwise Client 7.0.3 on Windows XP workstation.

After installing Groupwise Client when I run it for the first time, program was looking for ngwnameserver1 and ngwnameserver2. After that, he prompted for the User ID, Password and Address. When provided this information manually it successfully connected. But I would like that user are not prompted for login, password and server address during Groupwise Client start-up, but obtain access to e-mail account by using credentials from Novell Client/eDirectory authentication process.

Of course next time when program starts, it connects automatically because he remembered login and connection parameters.

I have read in documentation that if eDirectory and Groupwise system is properly configured, there is no need to give login and password manually.

While I was trying to find out what is the problem I've noticed (by using Wireshark) that client first connects to right server, and successfully query for eDirectory user. After that he sends query for post office. Server respond “Ok”. Finally clients sends query to read Attribute Name & Value: "NWG Access Mode" and "NGW Location" for the post office. Server responds: "(-603) No Such Attribute".

Does anybody know what could be a problem ?

Thank you for respond...
