Re: Problem during User Move
Hi again,
after one more day try and error i want to post more Details and hope that someone could help.
First i restored friday backup from tape, set this to restore area and tried with client 7.03 to log an as user to restore the loosing mails. But after opening the restore area there are no mails.
So i thought that friday backup is made too late and i tried thursday backup.
Unfortunately i had no free space on the server so i used an cheap ISCSI (experimental) NAS which was boring slow during restore. 6.5 h for 160 GB.
During that restore i tried to move the User back to second PO and get the same "0xd109 - Bad Parameter" Error after some seconds. After cancelling that move the User is shown in C1 in PO 2.
If i send mail from outside via GWIA to that User, i got mail back: User unknown on PO.
After finishing restore thursday backup from tape ( and setting this to restore area) i logged again in as user and tried to restore mails but get Error: d101 User not found
So i restored thursday Backup from PO2, set this to restore area and logged in as user but same Error: d101 User not found
Then i tried again to move User to first PO, get same error: 0xd109 - Bad Parameter, canceled it and the User was shown in C1 back on first PO.
So i tried to restore mails from both Thursday backups but also Error "d101 User not found" Error came.
If i send now mails from outside via GWIA Mail is delivered and arrived in User Mailbox. Answer also works fine.
The User.Db is still on both servers, on first PO small and on second PO big.
Between every step i restarted both POīs.
And right now i donīt know what to do more. The only thing maybe is to restore backup from tape from the day before i moved the user for the first time. Delete the User, and restore it from that Backup. But all mails during that mail and today where gone, arent they ?
