Default Outbound email shows Border Manager public IP

Running GW 7.0.3 server, NW 6.5SP6, BM 3.8
Sometime in early March, my mail server was failing, and outbound emails began showing there was a Reverse DNS issue. Turns out our public IP for our email was now showing to be the public IP for Border Mgr.
On 3/18/09, a new Novell email server was installed, with the correct public IP, but outbound emails still show the Border Mgr one.
I don't know how to track down why it happened, or better yet, how to fix it and understand later.
I read through the helps, but I don't know how to do most of what is talked about. I use ConsoleOne, but apparently barely from the articles I read!
Several other things that have occurred:
1. We switched our webpage over to a different company in late January, and had our ISP crate an A record to point to the new IP (which I've been told has nothing to do with this issue), and
2. Our ISP added a pointer for our BM IP, indicating that it still wouldn't answer as mail (which I don't want it to anyway!), and
3. Yesterday I was out, and something happened (I don't know what), but our district lost GW email function for awhile, and also internet capability. I don't know what my mgr did to restore it, but got it going. When I stopped by last night, the servers were out of timesync, so I got that sync'd.
4. As of yesterday, we can no longer log into our webmail interface; we get the message "Unable to communicate with GroupWise WebAccess agent".

It's going from worse to "worser". :-(

Can anyone help me?

Thanks, in advance, for being so nice to this "Novell dummy". I hope I'm your only one.

Trisha
