I found a neat tip; a rule that automatically delegates an appointment to your gmail account. Gmail then cleverly puts it in your google calendar.
There is one problem: we make heavy use of the multi-user calendar and have calendars for certain resources that users proxy in to. They make either appointments or posted appointments -- there isn't really any rhyme or reason and before now it hasn't mattered.
As I'm sure you know (and I just found out) posted appointments can't be delegated. Simply sending/forwarding the posted appointment to GMail doesn't result in it cleverly putting the thing in the calendar.
So I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to do this? Can posted appointments be converted to regular appointments? Are there other ways in which I could keep ALL appointments, posted or not, in several calendars sync'd with my Google calendar?
Thanks for any ideas!
