preparing for GW8 upgrade

Thanks Danita, I have already seen the simple properties view issue and the resolution you've posted resolved it. The other issue I've seen is the setting of the data format in the client back to US MM/dd/YYYY. I don't know the extent of this issue but I'm guessing it can't be "administratively" resolved.

Once again your upgrade guide was invaluable.
