Move GW 5.5/NW4.12 to GW7.0.3/OES2

SYSTEM: Single server with software mirror and one drive failed
NW 4.12 with GW5.5, 15 users single domain/post office
with single library ~7GB, stored outside of post office directory on same volume.

PROBLEM: Need to upgrade to GW 7.0.3 and move to new SUSE 10 OES2 server

HOW: Would like to create OES2 (linux) server in NEW tree and move GW
I can't upgrade GW to 7.0.3 on NW 4.12 server (not supported).
PLAN: dbcopy -M the GW5.5 to the oes2 server and then upgrade to GW7.0.3. Is this supported? Can I run the GWCheck 7 on the GW5.5? I also want to graft the GW domain, post office and users into the new tree. Then fresh install for GWIA.

ISSUE: Is there an issue with the library - I plan on moving the storage back in the post office directory because I read Linux does not support external library storage? Also plan on running Library/Maint - all options on the library after moving it back in the post office directory.

I want to make sure I do this in the correct order and not lose any documents!!!

Any suggestion on how to do this in the right order without data loss? I have read all the tids I could find, including 10007622.
