I don't know. But I can run gwpoa on my windows xp workstation. I think
your assumptions are invalid.

- eDirectory and ConsoleOne are irrelevant
- creating new objects is irrelevant
- all that matters is you can run gwpoa on your server. You do that now,
don't you?

don't read the documentation. It will merely confuse you.

To run stably as a useful system, you would need to create a po object.
