Default Re: OFFILES Cleanup

How do I determine the Reference count?
This is my Plan tell me if you see an area to modify.....
1. Do a backup with Symantec BackupExec 12.5 using on the Netware 6.5 server TSAFSGW.ncf that has in it:
LOAD SYS:\SYSTEM\TSAFSGW /EnableGW=TrueLOAD /HOME-VOL1:\WPDOMAIN\USERS_PO
2. Also do a DBCOPY
3. Run stand alone GWCHECK "Expire/Reduce Messages" with the Misc TAB selected and put in the "Support Options:" FORCECLEAN
4. Check to see if the Old files are gone.
5. Wait for the Calls if any......
6. Repeat on each Post Office

Is this a good Plan?

Try (after BACKUP) FORCECLEAN - it's a gwcheck secret option.

Sure, I suppose somebody could have autodated their life 20 years in
advance. Appointments are subject to that kind of vaguery - the
created/delivered date isn't as important as the scheduled date :)

But probably not.

If the reference count is now 0 (no one else is using a shared
attachment), it is supposed to be removed from the online store.
