GW monitor on xp machine

I had gw monitor 7 installed on xp machine before and it worked very
well. After I upgraded groupwise to 8 from 7, I deleted monitor objects
from consoleone and installed gw8 monitor on the xp machine. But every
time I click the icon of gw monitor, it opened up for a few seconds and
then closed by itself. It seems it crashed. Does anyone know where the
log file would be? I looked at consoleone and the configuration and set
the log at c:\novell\groupwise\gwmonitor\logs but nothing is there. I
would appreciate it if someone can give me any advice on this.
