Default Using NDS Authentication with WEBAccess

We would like to use our NDS passwords for Groupwise as well. We currently have a password policy in effect for all of our users. It requires a password change every 120 days, and the password must contain at least one number, a special character, an uppercase character, and a lowercase character. This is now in effect for all users that login and use a regular Groupwise Client. We want to enable this for our WEBAccess clients as well. We have 225 WEBAccess clients. They do not login to the network, they only have access to WEBAccess. The only way that I know of to do this is to enable LDAP Authentication for Groupwise as per TID 10098284. The problem is that it requires the user to go into Tools/Options/Security and click a flag "No password required with eDirectory". This box does not exist within WEBAccess. (Under Options/Security).

Will the above work for WEBAccess users ? What happens when they are forced to change their passwords ? Will they be able to change the NDS passwords thru WEBAccess? Will WEBAccess accept a complex password as per above ?

We are running Groupwise 7.0.3 HP2 on OES 2 SP2.

I cannot test the above as I would have to enable the LDAP authentication flag for the Post Office. If it does not work, I will have a lot of very upset users.

Please advise

Thanks
