I am trying to install the client software to an older HP iPAQ PDA by connecting to to the server via the web.
http://gms/install. This is how I have installed all of my other sync clients running on the Verizon PocketPC phones with no problems.
The install gets most of the way through downloading the client and then I receive an install error message:
A secure connection could not be established. Check your connection settings.
Has anyone else ran into this problem? I do remember having to connect the device using ActiveSync to the PC and install the software to the PC, however, this option is no longer available.
The GMS server is running on SLES10 SP2 with GMS2.0.3
