High Server Util After Upgrading Clients to 8

We upgraded the server side to 8.01 a few weeks ago from 7.02HP.

Had about 30 users set up with new 8.01 client and all was well.

We pushed out the client to about 250 other users yesterday and are now seeing the server peg to 100% a lot. Threads on POA also shoot to over 50 some times. The 300 users are split between two post offices. The second PO is running just fine.

No other changes have been made to problem PO server.

Running on NW 6.5 SP7.

any ideas?
