post office closed after server restart

Hi,

we are running GW 8 on SLES 10 SP2.

Since about 4 weeks, after a server restart the postoffice stays closed. We have to restart groupwise services about 5 times, then restart the MTA. Then the postoffice is open and stays open until we have to restart the server again.

Any ideas what could cause this?
