Verify your PO is set to C/S only, not direct. Your symptom sounds as if
the clients are connecting to the PO by fileshare, and have massive
problems doing so.
Of course, it could as well be, that the POA itself has massive problems
accessing the data, which would be unusual, and you should see heaps of
errors in the POA log.
