GW8 Client for Windows very slow

Hi,

I'm using GW8 HP1 on an OES2 SP1 Linux Server.
DOM and PO resides on NSS Volume.

Working with the GW8 Client for Windows (XP SP3) is very slow. (in comparison with GW703).
Either in online or in caching mode. both are much slower than with GW 703.
Also the Search function is slower although the indexing is up to date. (one week after last structure rebuild of the caching mailbox.)

the NSS Volume is mounted with the "noatime" option.

So are there any other issues or performance parameters?
In the current state I cannot recommend GW8 for my customers :-(
