Word as Editor

I have selected Word as the HTM editor,

In Word, open a file, then File / Send to Recipient

GW opens and the file is attached BUT I cannot edit the content of the
e-mail/ the "Please review the attached document" is visible in the
editing space but nothing can be edited - no cursor, etc.

Creating a blank e-mail using the Word editor seems to work fine.
