Newbie question. Proper way to upgrade GW8 to 8 SP1

Hi,

I'm still fairly new to GW and am unsure of the proper procedure for upgrading GW. Can someone explain how the "Software Distribution Directory" works? ex. how to place files into the directory and when do the individual components get updated? Is the update an automatic or manual process?

As for upgrading GW8 to GW8 SP1, should I just rin ./install.sh from the downloaded package as described in http://forums.novell.com/novell-prod...safe-side.html

or should the contents be copied to distribution directory and run it from there?
