Default gwha restarting GWIA without need, how to limit gwia processes on linux?

Hi,

I have a problem with gwha / Groupwise Monitor with our GWIA (running on
OES2 Linux). It seems that gwha is starting the GWIA again, from time to
time. These means, after some time I have multiple GWIAs running on the
same server with the same configuration.

The system itself is running, and I guess that only the first gwia is
still doing the work, but I guess I can not check whether this is true.

Before I start troubleshooting GW Monitor (at the moment we use GW
8.0HP2 and I want to upgrade to SP1 in some weeks), I like to limit the
number of times the GWIA process can be started on the linux server. Can
this be achieved by some kind of standard linux configuration?

Thanks in advance!
