Purging Users Volume

After purging the Users Volume, the "Purgeable Space" shown in the
Novell Volume Statistics tab in Users Volume properties shows no
decrease in KB size. After purging the other two volumes in the
directory, the "purgeable space" of those volumes returns to 0 KB. Any
explanation?
