Messenger on NSS Volume does not launch on startup

Hello...

The Messenger is running fine on our SLES10 - OES2 Server.
Problem is: The novell-nmma daemon is not starting automatically when
starting up the server.

I think the problem is caused because the nss daemon is not started at
that time...

When we start the novell-nmma manually later - all runs fine. How can I
delay the start of the novell-nmma, or how can the novell-nmma check if
nss is started or not....?
