Default Preping for migration from NW to OES2 & NCS

We're upgrading out servers from NetWare to Linux. We have 20 VM post offices on 12 NW servers. Wondering what is the best scenario;

1 - Migrate 20 PO's to 12 VM Linux servers.
2 - Create a 4 node-Linux OES Cluster utilizing NCS and migrate (move) the users to 4 new PO's there.

As you can probably assume, I'd like to do #2. Problem is, management is saying why not just do #1 and leave everything as is.

I'm really looking for some ammunition to do #2. This is what I can think of so far;

- Allows us to implement a highly available / redundant GW system,
- Hardware/OS/Software upgrades easier/quicker ... as only have to do 4 (not 12 servers) and 4 (not 20 PO's).
- Larger PO message stores, but probably overall less space taken.
- Quicker Busy Searches ... if one were searching across multiple PO's.
- Fewer mailbox moves (previous 20 PO's were department specific ... but not any longer).
- IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT SEEMS OBVIOUS THAT I MISSED ?????
