BlackBerry Enterprise Server & GroupWise 8 for Linux

Hi folks,

In reading the install manual for BES, i've found that it assumes that
GroupWise is running on NetWare and the wpdomain.db is accessible via
UNC path. Is there a workaround for this on GroupWise 8 for Linux where
no file access to the wpdomain.db is allowed and everything is done via
TCP connections?
