Javascript "blocked" by iChain?

Does iChain normally block javascript?

I do NOT have an SSO policy configured for the IDM 3.5.0 user app (all I
have to do is "forward iChain cookie" and that SSO's me into the
product).

However, javascript stuff just doesn't work through iChain when
accessing UserApp.

Bypass iChain and it works fine.

Is this normal?
