This worked:

1. Import the PFX file into the certificate store of IE.

2. Export the certificate, selecting 'include private key' and checking
the box that says 'include all certificates'. Save it as a PFX.

3. Export the certificate again, deselecting 'include private key'.
Save it as a B64-encoded CER file.

4. Rename the CER file to .TXT

5. Copy both PFX and TXT files into this folder:
\\Ics_server\SYS\ETC\proxy\appliance\config\user\c ert\backup

6. Use the certificate restore feature of iChain to import the certificate.
