iChian authentication is slow

Dear all, I've a problem with the authentiacation with iChain.
All works properly but the authentication system is very slow. I mean when I get the main authentication page of whatever application covered by iChain, and i fill in the field, it takes a lot of time to verify the credentials are ok.

I have iChain installed on other server (with similar performances) but the authentication takes less time.

Does someone know what is the cause of this big delay? How can I solve the problem?
