Default Re: Drivers & Rights

That's an intriguing idea, but I am not sure I can make it work in this particular case.

The "offending" OU, that I would like to exclude from searches, does not contain user objects that will ever match using the logic we have in place, but they will occasionally match on a single attribute. It's a long story, and an environment that has unfortunately grown somewhat organically - as in without proper planning - into its current state. But that's what i am stuck with.

The problem being, on a "partial" match, the driver sends some emails to the appropriate parties with pertinent information, and that's the end of it. What I really need to have happen on a partial match in my offending OU is for the driver to ignore it and treat it as an add in my users container.

It's possible (probable even) that I can get that to happen, but I didn't write the matching logic and it will take me some time to get my head fully wrapped around it (though I need to do that anyway.) In the meantime I have a half-dozen or so new users each day that don't get created when they should. I will look into it though.
