Default ADAM SSL failing err=LDAP_SERVER_DOWN

Hello All,

I'm trying to setup an ADAM driver without success. Have tried various
options and it is failing to sync passwords ... that said there should
be something wrong in the SSL setup that I'm doing. Here is what I have
tried so far ...

*) Ensured the user creation from IDV to ADAM is "working fine" without SSL.

*) Next tried to sync password from IDV to ADAM. For the SSL setup

1) Created a server cert in iManager named DirXML.
2) Specified this in the driver config for the kmo property
(DriverConfig1.jpg)
3) Enabled SSL on the subscriber channel.

( Deployed the driver)

4) In iManager, Directory Administration -> Modify Object ->
Tree-CA.security -> Ceritficates -> Self Signed Certificates.
Exported the root self signed cert in B64 format.

5) Copied the cert export to the RL machine and selected that in the SSL
configuration of the RL (RL-COnfiguration.jpg).

Now when the driver is started the trace shows LDAP_SERVER_DOWN error
message. Can someone point out what is it that I may be doing wrong.

IDM Sever side trace : adam-idmserver.log
RL Trace : ADAM-RLTrace.log

IDM 3.6.1 on SLES 10 SP2.
RL is on Windows Server 2003.

Thanks for the help.

J
