IDM strangeness

Hi all: I run the bundled edition of IDM (3.5.1) on Netware
6.5 sp8 with eDir 8.8 sp5. I have IDM setup to do one way
syncs from eDir to our Windows 2008 (64-bit) AD server.
This has been running fine for the past year or so. But
alas I am now seeing some problems. Ohter than standard
upgrades from Novell I have not made any setting changes to
IDM.

So here are some of the strangeness I am seeing:

1. IDM now reports an invalid password (see below for error
message from log). I have reset all passwords on both ends
(edir and ad, remote loader, application, and driver) to a
very simple test password and restarted. But I still see
the error.

2. Even with the password error (above) I am still able to
sync some changes (i.e. change the name of a user object in
eDir and the change shows up in AD).

3. Adding a new user to eDir does not create that user in
AD.



Can you help me out here? All help is greatly appreciated.
