Default Event Viewer password sync entry behavior

Just now ripping out old DirXML 1.1a sync with password sync 1.0 and
replacing it with IDM 3.6.1 with password sync enabled. All of this is
running between edir and AD obviously.

I'm wondering if there is any way to change the behavior of the password
sync section of the Windows Server's Event Log? In the old 1.1a version
it enumerated every change and I could see at a glance if there was a
problem or that everything was OK. My management got used to this fact
and would often come to me asking if pass-sync was OK (which it almost
always was). It was quite helpful and helped me with piece of mind
knowing all was well.

Now in IDM 3.6.1 this isn't how it works anymore unfortunately. All I
get is a pretty useless "pass sync is working" kind of message and
that's it. Honestly if that is all it says I'm wondering why there is a
whole section even devoted to it in Event Viewer anymore, I'd guess it's
just a legacy thing?

Is there any way to customize this to make the password sync entries
more verbose?
