The intent, for good or bad, is to make Active Directory appear "normal"
to people who are used to managing Active Directory with Microsoft tools.
If you look at the way MS' "Users and Computers" thing manages the
domain, the IDM driver pre-config is intended to emulate it as closely as
possible.
