Need eDir to AD cn change help
Hi everyone!
We have an eDir2eDir configured for our tree to vault sync. That works great. I then added a Vault to Active Directory domain driver and seems to be almost working... my problem is that when the account gets created on the AD side it uses the full name of the user to create the cn and distinguishedName... Here's an example:
On the eDir side..
Let's say my name is Bob Smith. Bob's account name on eDir is bsmith with first name Bob and last name Smith. Is cn will be bsmith.
On the AD side..
Bob Smith will have an account name (or sAMAccountName) bsmith with first name Bob and last name Smith but is cn will be Bob Smith and distinguishedName is CN=Bob Smith,OU=Adm,OU=Aviat,DC=lcc,DC=locale
This works for the first Bob Smith (bsmith) in the organisation but if another Bob Smith (bosmith) joins then the bosmith does not get created because of the cn name no being unique...
How do i modify the driver to use the sAMAcountName to create the cn and distinguishedName?
