Default ifolder cannot be deleted- Windows says its a system folder??

A user had bollixed up his account somehow and I need to delete the old
directory of iFolder and uninstall/reinstall. However, when I attempt
to delete the iFolder, "home" or any other directory within, I get an
error message that says "This is a Windows System Folder and cannot be
deleted "- anyone ever seen this, and why on EARTH would this suddenly
arise? Of course this isn't a system folder necessary for Windows to
run!
many thanks
