Waiting to synchronize...

My application allows me to connect to the server, but the status constantly shows "Waiting to synchonise".

Client is 3.2. Server is 3.6. The synchronisation log shows;

Any ideas what could be causing this? Where would I start troubleshooting? I would like to look at the server logs to see if it's communicating but not sure where these are.
