New server install, clients not connecting

My problem is that internal machines can connect with the client to the iFolder server on my SUSE 10 SP2 OES2 SP1 box with no problems. The problem we are having is that the client cannot connect from outside the firewall. The firewall is not the issue since I shut down the filters to see if this was was the issue but it was not.

The clients at home get the same message:

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Key cannot be null.
Parameter name: key

The client initally displays the certificate prompt and the information is from the iFolder server but after a minute the connection fails.
