Sharp MX-3501N profile setup problems

I want to implement user codes on our Sharp copiers. However, when I try to build a profile I have two problems:

1. The driver page that comes up when I try to create a profile (and it's a brand new driver I just downloaded from Sharp) is very limited and only contains tray settings.

2. When I try to OK out after setting the tray assignments, iManager hangs.

I was hoping to be able to configure department/user codes via profiles; how might I do this if I don't even get access to settings like this via the profile setup dialog for this driver?

And is there a patch I need to install to get around the hang when I try to do anything with the profile?
