It is possible to make the URL for the printer install be a DNS name rather than an IP address of the server?

For example:

From
http://print-aas.xxxx.uk/ippdocs/isi...talled=install

To
http://print-aas.xxxx.uk/ippdocs/isi...talled=install


Using the iprmtcmd ;
its states:
ipp://10.10.10.xx/ipp/itshp4000n and would like to have
ipp://print-aas/ipp/itshp4000n
