Migrate printers to cluster
We have a number of NW65SP6 boxes that run NDPSM and BROKER for Iprint services in various departments. I’d like to migrate all of the printers from these boxes and to a single NW65 3-node cluster in the same tree.
The cluster is installed and configured with Iprint running as a clustered resource. I can create printers on it and all works well.
I tried using the Server Consolidation and Migration Toolkit. It will move a printer object from one Print Manager to another but it requires the user reinstall the printer once it’s on the new Manager.
Is there a way to seamlessly migrate printers from the other Print Managers & Brokers to the clustered service? I’d like to do this with no user intervention required. Once complete, I’d like to not run NDPSM and BROKER on the other servers.
Any suggestions??
