Migrating Printer Agents
Our enviroment is nw6.5 SP7. We are running iPrint 4.0.7. We have 2 Print Brokers and 5 Print Managers. We have purchased a new server to host all teh printers / drivers / managers / brokers. The set up we would like is 1 New Broker / 1 New Manager ( can you have multiple managers on one box? ) all on a new IP address. I have been playing around and had a look at the consolidation utility but my main aim is to have no-impact or as little as possible on teh customer. The Consolidation utility makes the job easy to move the printer object but once the object is shifted the user is warned the printer no longer exists. Also teh printer profile is removed. Can anyone point me in the right direction to make this transformation as painless as possible?
