CIFS Domain Authentication
We have 3 NW6SP3 servers configured with CIFS-SP9 in domain auth mode. We also have a 2K3 test domain that the authentication works fine. When we change the domain to the corporate domain, we can see the servers but cannot login. Switch back to the test domain and it works fine.
History: Corporate has created an OU in Active Directory and has given us administrative priv. to that OU only. We do not have the Domain Admin password. We obviously have domain admin rights on the test domain.
I am guessing that CIFS uses the domain admin user to authenticate against AD?
