Default NW6.5 as PDC - groups don't working

Hello,

I wan't to run a Netware 6.5 (SP7) server as PDC, to give our Netware users access to a Windows 2003 server.

It works fine with one exception. I can't use Netware groups as domain groups to grant file system rights. The groups appear in "Domain Groups" after a login of a group member and I can select them on the windows server to grant them rigts. But then they appear with a questionmark in front of their name in the list of trustees. When I close this dialog and reopen it, then it shows a user symbol instead a group symbol and a sid instead of the name. And the sid is wrong, it ends with -0.

I already found a thread with a simular problem in this forum:
http://forums.novell.com/novell-prod....html#poststop
But there is also no solution.

I also tried to get the sid of the group with the getsid command:

Quote:
getsid \\avalon-w test2 \\avalon-w test2
The SID for account OES-DOMAIN\test2 matches account OES-DOMAIN\test2
The SID for account OES-DOMAIN\test2 is S-1-5-21-892753742-103095296-3166479014-0
The SID for account OES-DOMAIN\test2 is S-1-5-21-892753742-103095296-3166479014-0
The sid should be "S-1-5-21-892753742-103095296-3166479014-666" (I already tried it with a change of the nfapCIFSRID value).

I've found out, that I get the same sid when I lookup a non-existent group. Only the automatic generated groups like "Domain Users" work correct, I can grant them rights and I get the correct sid with getsid.

Hope somebody can help me.

Regards
Karsten
