AFP and Users with space restrictions

Hi there,

I work at a multimedia school with suites of OS X 10.5 Mac computers, and files are saved to Netware 6.5 servers.

We have to maintain Space Restriction limits on all of our students to ensure that they do not overfill the file servers. However, after logging into the file server using AFP, the space listed as being available is the entire free space of the volume, rather then just the space the user has left.

This is a serious issue as students have to deal with large files and routinely exceed their limit with no warning at all (leading to file corruption). Is there any way we can resolve this problem?
