Slow File Transfer
Hello,
our Netware 4.11-Server is currently really slow... and I don't know when it started getting so extremly slow :-(
When I copy Files from the Server to a Windows-Client I get only 2,5MByte/second over a 100MBit-Link...
I've got two RAID-Arrays:
- RAID1 with an Adaptec 2410SA-Controller (RAID1) and two Samsung SATA 160GB-Disks
- RAID 5 with an ICP Vortex GDT6528RD and three Hitachi SCSI 36GB-Disks
The Data-Rates while copying files is from both Arrays below 3MByte/second.
If I run a Backup-Job only with that Server, the Backup-Speed to a local Tape-Drive is also around 2,5MByte/second.
I've also tried to log on with Linux' "ncpmount" and to copy files... with the same result.
I don't have further Ideas to isolate my problem...
