FYI the current patches would be NW50SP6a NOVELL: Downloads - NetWare 5.0 Support Pack 6a (note this was released in 2001!).
After that you must also install: os5pt2a.exe, wsock4f.exe, flsysft3.exe, ts524o.exe, and Set client file caching enabled=Off.
