Default Cannot log in to server

I had to replace the network card with a new pci card. It is a link sys card and auto loaded using IRQ 11 and base address ec30. When I try to login the client can't find the tree. On the monitor screen all the information such as tree name and server name is correct. Any suggestions.

This problem started when the client machine kept say that a network cable was disconnected. When I disconnected the server cable from the router the error message disappeared.
