Tree cannot be found

Hi,

I have been using a small NW5.0 server for some time now with few problems (that you haven't helped me through). I have decided for security reasons to switch some of the WSs to Linux (maybe ultimately the server itself, but that's another story). The NW5.0 server has been operating on IPX, but IP is installed (I believe).

I reinstalled Novell Client 4.91 SP5 for Windows on my laptop using custom install, IP only. I cannot access the server at all, but under IPX it was working fine. Obviously, first I wanted to make sure that the IP would not present a problem before I jumped to the Linux problems.

I reinstalled. Same thing. The Linux WS cannot connect either, but I don't know what's causing that, and I'm much more comfortable with Windows for now.

Any thoughts on this? I can ping from and to the server using its IP address.
