.LNG file cause error on backup

Hello, I am running a ARCserveIT6.6 on a NW5.0 box. The backup runs
fine
other than keep showing me the Invalid Path for the .LNG files. I
already
deleted all these .LNG files, but why the backup still try to look for
it?
Does anyone have any fix to it? Any help is greatly appreciated!
