NWTAPE - "device ... has not been tested with this driver."

I just connected a COMPAQ_SDLT320 to my Netware 5.1/SP7 server and issued a
SCAN FOR NEW DEVICES command. NWTAPE.CDM auto-loaded and gave me this
warning:

Novell 5.00 Generic Tapce CDM
Version 1.00m November 2, 1999

006: WARNING! Device COMPAQ_SDLT320 has not been tested with this driver.
Driver will attempt generic support. Use at your own risk!

Is this a cause for concern? Is there a newer driver available?

The drive was busted, this is the replacement, and I"m trying to get
ArcServe going again.
