One other thing to check -- SLP! I had two servers start giving me EC=-1 errors after years of flawless (by CA standards) service. I reinstalled, DSRepaired, nearly everything.
Execute a "display slpda" at the console. If it comes back empty, there's your problem. The SLP DA discovery options occasionaly resets to "2" (set via DHCP) instead of 4 (set statically via the slp.cfg file).
Literally seconds after re-enabling the correct SLP setting, I could connect to BASB via the manager. Amazing!!!
