Can'tload dosfat on one of my Netware 5.0 servers to rename nwtape

The netware 5.0 server I am currently working on
Automatically loads nwtape.cdm
When I type load dosfat it doesn't work.
Is it safe to use unload nwtape
followed by load dlttape in autoexec.ncf
instead of renaming nwtape so it won't load.
