Default Sbackup logs verified only 4 jobs completed

This is a Netware 5.0 Server
I got a confirmation from sme that 4 backup jobs went through, now on the activity screen no more messages are being listed. I deleted the information for the 4 jobs from the logs in order to see if anymore jobs will post.
But again the job did not cancel out and there are no error messages.
The date and time drifted off to 2007 and I set them correctly with set time.
This is another bum server that the dstshift won't correct the time on.
If I type inetcfg and enable tcpip routing I guess I could try setting the next hop route to be the default gateway my router. then ping it. Then if i can remember correctly put an ntp time server into the timesync.cfg file. Which I can barely remember the syntax, then type reload timesync. What is a good one to use? But if history repeats itself like the other server nothing will work to correct this. Wish I could just bury this server and use a new one with oes Linux. Unfortunately this cheap company won't let me. Just to reiterate the other server could ping the router but for no logical reason at all could ping anything beyond my local network. And yes I set the subnet mask also and all the workstations could reach it and get out. Also the last time I tried to check the inetcfg configuration the server rebooted and locked itself up. I rebooted at the point a second time and gave up. I just set time with set time afterwards, and it eventually drifted off again.

Thanks,
Bill
